Throughout the year Absolute Studio Theater will be showing movies, and tickets for these shows can be purchased below by
clicking on the ticket link. These films have all been licensed through Swank and Criterion Pictures. With every movie we show the
venue will be putting on an experience to go along with it that is fun for adults or the entire family! The venue prides itself on keeping
costs affordable for these shows by working with other businesses in our community through our nonprofit that wants to keep small
theaters thriving.

Once a month at Mellwood Art Center for open house, you can view The Absolute
Studio Theater and have a tour.
Absolute Studio Theater invites you to see Purple Rain starring Prince! Come to the show and be sure to wear your purple. There will be an impersonator there to take pictures with the patrons. There are food and drinks available at Mellwood Art Center and this event is fun for the family!
Come see Tron the Disney movie at Absolute Studio Theater. The theater will be set up like Tron for the full experience.
The story follows Flynn's adult son Sam, who responds to a message from his long-lost father and is transported into a virtual reality called "the Grid", where Sam, his father, and the algorithm Quorra must stop the malevolent program Clu from invading the real world.
Come see E.T. the movie at Absolute Studio Theater in Mellwood Art Center. You can take your picture with E.T. and sit back, relax, and watch a classic indoors. Mellwood has food and drinks available.
After a gentle alien becomes stranded on Earth, the being is discovered and befriended by a young boy named Elliott (Henry Thomas). Bringing the extraterrestrial into his suburban California house, Elliott introduces E.T., as the alien is dubbed, to his brother and his little sister, Gertie (Drew Barrymore), and the children decide to keep its existence a secret. Soon, however, E.T. falls ill, resulting in government intervention and a dire situation for both Elliott and the alien
Come see Harry and the Hendersons at Absolute Studio Theater in Mellwood Art Center. With your ticket purchase, you will be able to cast your own Bigfoot feet to take home with you. This film is a great family summer event. Mellwood also offers places to eat and drink!
While returning from a trip in the woods, George Henderson (John Lithgow) and his family run into something with their car that turns out to be a Sasquatch. Thinking the creature is dead, they take him home, but "Harry" (Kevin Peter Hall) soon awakens. Despite their initial fears, Harry is a kind and sensitive being, and the Hendersons become very fond of him. However, it is difficult to keep him a secret, and soon they begin to fear for Harry's safety

Absolute Studio Theater invites you to, Seasoned With Love an original Cinaplay, concept by Genna Greene. A Cinaplay is a play performed live and entwined with movie motion picture segments prerecorded to provide a bigger cinematic entertainment quality. Seasoned with Love is hosted by a psychic medium character named Madame Zullinga who introduces short love stories, and she guides the audience through each enactment. With every tale, patrons are entertained by comedy, heartfelt moments, perseverance, and relatability. This show is rated M for a mature audience.
This show is catered by the Bristol Bar & Grill, and your ticket price includes your meal. You can pick your meal out below in the modifications box, if you would like more than one meal per ticket please contact the venue at (502)819-0566 and an additional one can be added for a charge. All meals come with the sides listed below, bottles of water, or tea. If you are purchasing more than one ticket you can mark the amount of meals you need next to the modifications box. (There is a Brewery next to the theater if you wish to purchase any alcoholic beverages)
